Building a portfolio of data services in partnership with Infoboss

Background

Since the 3C team first formed over 10 years ago, they have worked with more than 150 social housing organisations to advise and support them on their digital transformation journeys.
Through their work advising and supporting clients, it was becoming clear that an increasing level of focus from both the regulator for social housing, and social housing organisations themselves, was turning towards data, it’s integrity, management, importance, risk and value.

Back in early 2020, Mark Hobart – Infoboss and Colin Sales, 3C – CEO met (believe it or not in person) just before the first UK COVID-19 lock down and immediately developed a rapport. Colin had a vision for the way social housing organisations could improve their data management processes through a combined offer of software and data consulting expertise. Essentially transforming 3C’s delivery approach to include a range of data services to benefit both new and existing clients.

Data services team and propositional development

After partner on-boarding, the 3C Data Services team was established. Led by Nicky Hawkins, a data and social housing expert with over 35 years’ experience, she helped architect the 3C Data Services proposition and operational delivery capability, with Data services now being one of the three foundational pillars of the 3C proposition:

  • Advisory – digital transformation consultancy;
  • Connect – cloud solutions consultancy; and of course
  • Data – data centric services and consultancy.

Over the past two years, the partnership is clearly working, with the 3C Data services team continuing to expand to meet the growing demand for its data services.

Branding

Having made a decision early on, to take advantage of the white-labelling feature within the software 3C elected to re-badge the software under their own brand 3C Data Logic. Once the name was decided the work of defining the array of services commenced.

The result is a range of data services that can support their clients at every stage of their data journey from strategy through execution and on-going governance.

Infoboss partner offer

Infoboss provides a variety of services to its partners such as demonstration and training environments, a partner support hub, sales and marketing collateral, partner training and other collateral and personnel to support partner implementation projects as required.

Nicky says, “The availability of collateral to support our messaging has enabled our sales and marketing team to get up to speed quickly with new client engagement. The technical software support and training has meant that our technical team have quickly become self-sufficient in the software. We are now self-sufficient in all aspects of client service delivery using 3C Data Logic.”

More recently, 3C have invested in their own multi-tenanted hosted implementation of 3C Data Logic.

Nicky says, “Our new dedicated hosted 3C Data Logic service enables our customers to assess the quality of their data in several areas and help them understand the value and potential of their data for a small, fixed fee. We can establish client value quickly, which leads to further positive engagement and much faster sales cycles.”
